Life is challenging for a lot of people at the moment. For many running can be a hugely valuable escape and a boost to their mood. You know me, I’m all for this but sometimes we need to think beyond exercise to help our mental wellbeing. So Chris Lendrum, Glenn Robbins and myself got together to record a podcast on mental health and running for Physio and Fitness.

In this podcast, we talk about the benefits of exercise but also other aspects of mental health we should consider. I also talk for the first time about my experiences with anxiety and OCD, what triggered it and what helps.

Listen below, I hope you find it useful and if you are struggling at the moment please reach out. Help is there and it can make a real difference. There are links beneath the podcast if you’d like to find out more.
