Welcome to Running-Physio. My aim is to help runners and health professionals get great results with running injuries.
If you have an injury at the moment I recommend you see a qualified health professional (such as a Physio, Sports Therapist or Podiatrist) for their expert input. This is why much of the content on our site has been geared towards those that treat runners – to help them to help you!
On this page you’ll find useful resources and general guidance on running injury. It’s not designed to replace medical advice.
The best place to start is our series of podcasts with Rick Pearson and Ben Hobson at Runner’s World UK. These are aimed at runners who’d like to know more about a condition and its management. To date we’ve covered Shin Pain, Hamstring Injuries, ‘Runner’s Knee‘, Achilles tendinopathy and Persistent Running Injuries. You can listen to each below.
I’ve also written articles for Runner’s World on Patellar Tendinopathy and hamstring tightness (which goes nicely with the podcast!).
From May 2024 until 2025 I will be on a sabbatical from seeing patients but if you’d like to see a member of our team please visit our clinic page.
