Running Repairs Course Terms and Conditions

The Running Repairs Course is for Physiotherapists and trained healthcare professionals. This includes Sports Therapists, Podiatrists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors and other healthcare professionals who assess and treat running injury within their scope of practice. Running Coaches and other healthcare professionals may attend providing they work within their scope of practice and adhere to the terms below.

By attending the Running Repairs Course you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The Running Repairs Course and any of our teaching material is not intended to replace clinical reasoning and decision making by healthcare professionals during patient care.
  2. It is the responsibility of the healthcare professional to determine which assessments and treatments are safe and appropriate for each individual in their care. We cannot be held responsible for injury or any other consequences of a healthcare professional choosing to apply information from our courses in patient care.
  3. It is the responsibility of the healthcare professional to ensure they are appropriately qualified, registered and insured to treat patients under their care and adhere to local regulations.
  4. The Running Repairs Course and any of our teaching material doesn’t qualify an individual to independently assess and treat running injuries or any other patient group.
  5. It is the responsibility of the healthcare professional to work within their scope of practice. For example, for Running Coaches completing the Running Repairs Course, the assessment and treatment of running injuries may not fall into your scope of practice and may require additional qualifications that are not provided by the Running Repairs Course or our other teaching materials.
  6. Health professionals are responsible to limit their practice to those areas in which they have established and maintained their competence. Completing the Running Repairs Course or any of our teaching materials may not be sufficient to establish personal competence in a new area.
  7. All aspects of the Running Repairs Course are optional and you take part at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for injuries that occur during the course as a result of exercise or any other aspect of the course.
  8. Healthcare students (such as Physiotherapists) may complete the Running Repairs Course or our other teaching material but they are responsible for ensuring the practice with adequate supervision in a way that is safe and appropriate for their level of learning and qualification.
  9. Our Content including handouts and slides from the Running Repairs Course cannot be re-sold or re-distributed without written permission.
  10. Photographs and videos taken by Tom Goom during the Running Repairs Course may be used on running-physio.com, social media or for marketing and/ or educational purposes. Please let us know before or during the course if you don’t wish your image or video to be shared.

Refund policy for Running Repairs Courses

  1. In the event of cancellation on the part of the course participant a full refund will be provided up until 4 weeks prior to the course start date. Cancellations after this date will be charged in full.
  2. In the event of cancellation at any stage by the venue or Course Lead, a full refund of course fees will be provided. 
  3. We cannot be responsible for additional costs, such as accommodation, travel etc and these cannot be refunded by the venue or Course Lead in the event of a course cancellation.
