Seth O’Neill is the principal physiotherapist, he has been qualified for 13 years and has worked extensively in the NHS and Private sector. His previous roles include Sports Medicine at Leicester General Hospital and then A+E specialist at Leicester Royal Infirmary. These roles have allowed Seth to develop extensive manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills. He then went on to complete a master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University. Seth is also a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), a specialist organization that ensures Physiotherapists have undertaken extensive post graduate study and undergone further clinical and theoretical tests.
His particular area of treatment speciality is musculoskeletal disorders and injuries which he lectures on at Leicester and Coventry Universities 3 days a week. Seth has experience working with patients with all manner of musculoskeletal injuries varying from sports injuries to Chronic Low Back Pain and Sciatica. This varied workload ensures that he has excellent knowledge of all musculoskeletal disorders.
Seth is currently undertaking exciting research into tendon disorders, this is part of a PhD which aims to change current treatment strategies and help to optimise recovery for patients. He also recently co-wrote an article for RunningPhysio on insertional achilles tendinopathy.
